Just a “Get-Ready”day.
Got fueled-up and met Captain Joe Delvecchio. Joe and wife Deb worked with Ted at the Lauderdale Boat Show. Joe introduced us to First Mate Nate who just bought a 1963 Owen. Good luck, Nate. Also saw Captain Ethan who kept us updated on a Blue Angels “Fly-Over”.  Loved seeing our boat friends along with other boats waiting for the Fly-Over out
on the river. It was just a word-of-mouth thing and quite exciting for
us. They certainly were VERY fast - and VERY loud!

Following the Blue Angels, we got pumped out, bought MORE
groceries (really!), picked up mail at the Post Office, got $$ at the ATM which
we won’t use because we’ll be in Canada, then went to the drug and liquor
stores. PHEW! We are ready to go in the morning.
A friend posted this cartoon. Can any of you 'Desperate Boatwives' relate?
